Songs we sing in Reception...Here are some of the songs that we have introduced in the Reception club. Do let me know if there are any that your child has mentioned that may be missing.... I am in the process of preparing to film the songs myself, but for now - I have found the most appropriate YouTube video for each song so that you can sing them at home.

In the version we usually sing, Alice only has 5 humps and we sing it a little slower than this!! |

A lot of the songs that I sing with the children I have learnt from the brilliant Steve Grocott, who has a range of song books and CDS for children of this age - you can find them at: http://www.dronesmusic.net/page.php?pageid=childrens

We LOVE this one! (Particularly at COLPAI!!) - we have been using scarves as our horsie tails and even using instruments to tap along to make the sound of the horsie hooves. We don't tend to sing the second verse in class, but that doesn't mean you can't at home! |

This is the hello song that we introduce for Chinese New Year! It's very popular all year round though... <<<<<<<< |

We tend to sing this one a little bit slower than this video... a lovely one for Easter, or anytime really! <<<<<<<< |
