The Camden Music Trust
The Camden Music Trust is an educational grant-making charity dedicated to supporting musical organisations helping young people further their musical activities in Camden.
It was started by a group of Friends of Camden Music parents who cared about the provision of music for children in the Borough.
Our vision was of a charity that could help all children in Camden benefit from music as a formative experience, regardless of parents’ ability to pay.
August 2012 saw changes to music education in England with the establishment of Music Education Hubs. These hubs are partnerships of organisations interested in, and involved with musical education for young people.
Crescendo are delighted to be recognised as an associate partner in the Camden Music hub.
The hub's mission is to fundraise to maintain, develop and increase the range of musical opportunities available to young people in the borough, both within and outside of our schools.
Our target is to raise £250,000 a year to ensure the Music Service continues to offer high quality music activities to all young people in the borough. You can help by making a donation, however small.
